WebJul 28, 2024 · I use Tung oil on all my refinishes . It takes several coats over a few days but it brings it the natural color, especially on the laminated Romanian and Russian stocks. Tung oil over time does darken as does Linseed oil. I find it easier to apply than shellac or varnish, and does not flake or peel over time.
